Welcoming in 3 new members of staff
Looks like we may have to think about looking for a dedicated tea person soon as the rounds are starting to get very large around here. This month we are pleased to welcome 3 new additions to our ever growing team and they are already settling in well here at our Bournemouth Head Office.
Francesca Griffiths: Creative Designer
Francesca joins the creative team from a local web design agency where she worked with many high profile clients on a variety of online projects. Being half Italian she loves to live ‘la dolce vita’ drinking pink champagne, dancing, and of course…eating Italian food.
Sarah Greany: Account Executive
Sarah joins the sales team from an online travel agency where she was responsible for implementing a wide array of marketing campaigns both online and offline. She has travelled extensively around Europe and loves broadening her horizons visiting different cultures. Sarah is also currently the only person to have visited the gym that we all joined three weeks ago.
Martin Mitchell: Head of Search
Martin joins the team with 5 years experience in search and pay per click marketing, gained working on campaigns for a range of national companies. Living by the sea obviously appeals to Martin as he loves nothing more than swimming / surfing / Kite surfing his way through the briny waves at every possible opportunity – even in February!
Achieving record sales in January
The run up to February was a really busy time for everyone here and this month is already shaping up to be just the same as we achieved our best sales results ever over January. Over the past few weeks we have been working hard on a new website for McCarthy & Stone, which included doing full user testing with some of their residents and a photo shoot. We also created a successful Christmas shop for the Transform Medical Group in December and this month we are helping them again with an email marketing campaign.
For the coming months we are working on some exciting pitches for a wide variety of national companies, including; a soap maker, a housebuilder, a utility supplier and a major manufacturer – variety really is the spice of life!
New office opening in Manchester
Beginning our nationwide expansion we are opening a new office in the Salford Quays district of Manchester. Manchester has a proud past leading the world during the industrial revolution of the 18th and 19th century. But what attracted us to the city is its current status as the cultural and business centre of the north. Manchester boasts a cosmopolitan atmosphere that is only rivalled by London and is a great place to work and play.
Our plans to open offices across the country will mean that we'll be able to further improve our service to the most important people in our business…our clients. Account managers will be on hand across the country allowing us to develop close relationships with our clients and an improved understanding of their business needs. In the coming months the expansion continues with offices opening in Reigate and Edinburgh, so there is a lot to look forward to.
