Bournemouth Live! goes live!

The Bournemouth Live! website officially went live over the weekend. As part of our sponsorship of the week long festival we completely overhauled the site with some great design work from the creative team and some excellent new functionality courtesy of the development team.

The Bournemouth Live! festival is set around four free outdoor stages in Bournemouth from the Square to the Pier as well as music events in venues, hotels and churches all over the town.

The organisers at Big Bear Events have developed the festival over the past couple of years and we love being involved with something that has such a positive effect on the town.

It runs from the 24^th June to the 1^st July. So visit the website, plan what you want to see and then get yourself down there!

Dorset Business Awards Launch

Today was the launch party for the Dorset Business Awards website at Twenty on the River in Bournemouth. The new site officially goes live on Tuesday at www.dorsetbusinessawards.co.uk.

Refreshed Media Launches New Website

Our newly designed website goes live on Tuesday 1st May just in time for Internet World.

For the new site we have tried to simplify everything as much as possible to make things easier for you find the information you need, while still demonstrating our creative flair. The biggest change has probably been the introduction of Liz our video presenter on the home page and the main product pages. You only have a few seconds to make an impact online, and we decided that video is the quickest way to communicate complex messages in a short space of time. We've found that a presenter gives the site a new dimension and focuses visitors on the fundamentals of our brand.

Also (you probably won't be surprised - as you're reading it) we have changed our company news section into a blog. The aim for this is, not only to let you know whats going on here at Refreshed, but also to give our team a chance to discuss their favourite subject - online marketing.

We have also added syndication to the site using RSS feeds, so you can stay up to date with all our latest info, and news from the industry.

And remember in the spirit of the social web...it's a discussion - so we'd love to hear what you think about anything you read here.
